On five-year anniversary of Kilby Labs, Texas Instruments unveils new Innovation Studio
Demo area offers first-hand look at breakthrough semiconductor technology

DALLAS, Jan. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrating five years of breakthrough innovation at its Kilby Labs, Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ: TXN) today announced the opening of the Kilby Labs Innovation Studio in Dallas. This interactive demo space gives customers, students and university researchers hands-on experience with technologies that are shaping the future of electronics.

Projects in Kilby Labs span key market and application areas including isolation, high voltage drivers, advance timing references, sensor and integrated transducer systems, and motor diagnostics, many of which are driving the next generation of industrial monitoring and automotive safety. Building on TI's foundation of power technology leadership, the labs also focus on enabling more performance for lower power, as well as generating and managing energy to enable a greener world.
