The world is consuming energy at an unprecedented rate. To help keep up with demand, technology is making renewable energy sources such as wind and solar more viable. In the first half of 2021 alone, renewable energy sources accounted for 92% of new electrical generating capacity in the U.S. with nearly half of those additions coming from solar.1
